The Budawatta Tradition Lives On
The Budawatta Dance School was founded by the late Maestro Kulasiri Budawatta, a pioneer of Sri Lankan traditional dance, and his wife Nemali Budawatta, a devoted contributor to the school’s artistic journey. Today, their vision lives on through Rangana Budawatta and Ashini Budawatta, who lead the UK branch with passion and purpose. Together, they continue to share the timeless beauty of Kandyan dance, preserving its heritage while inspiring a new generation of dancers.
